素敵な運命

今夜もきっと。

I’ll go Sendai next month to take part in the general meeting of Japanese Breast Cancer Society. This time, the theme of my presentation is VACORA, which is a self-contained, hand-held, vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system that can be used with ultrasound. Since not many hospitals use this medical appliance so far, so I plan to explain how to use it exactly with moving image at the meeting. Now I’ve been preparing manuscript and images. In addition, I also prepare manuscript which will be translated into English. I don’t know if it will be appeared in the academic journal, but I think I should send my messages to the world in order to spread more precise breast biopsy. Of course, I see patients as usual and support all of you anytime while preparing for the meeting. No matter what happens, I will always fight together.

乳房切除術としては他に、乳頭乳輪は切除して「乳腺」は切除するが、皮膚を温存する術式（skin-sparing mastectomy;SSM)、乳頭乳輪を温存する乳房切除術(nipple-sparing mastectomy)がある。これらは通常乳房再建を前提として行われ、DCISは適応の第一に挙げられる。

さすがの私も睡眠不足です。

昨日から次々と

緊急手術が必要な方がおいでになったので

朝まで手術を担当し、

そのままモーニングカンファランス。

そして、回診をしてから午後から夜まで

外来で皆様にお会いしました。

多少睡眠不足な方が、テンションの高い私ですが、

一日の後半になるとさすがにトロンとしてきます。

皆様にはいつも「目が赤い。」とか「目がとろんとしてる。」

と言われたりしますが、今日は気合いで皆様に気付かれることはありませんでした。

と思っているのは自分ばかりかもしれませんが・・。

今日もこれからどんな運命が待ち構えているか、

誰にも分かりません。

素敵な運命だと良いですが、

緊急手術をたくさん担当するのも、

私は素敵な運命だと思っています。

今日も私も皆様も素敵な運命でありますように！
